The level of difficulty in reading the subtitles have been raised. I honestly wanted to add in an outline, but I had some trouble with the software. Davinci resolve is really shitty when it comes to adding and modifying texts. Edit: I noticed it way too late that you could increase the thickness of the outline with "Text+" on Davinci resolve. With that, I don't think I would make the same mistake again. Some context: - A certain blood type will indicate a certain set of personalities. For instance, O-type = extrovert. I'm not well versed into the blood type thing so I actually got the "C-type" wrong in the video. That sounded like "C" but it was actually "chi" for blood. But she basically said, 2:14 , "If you send your blood to me, I will check it for you". I heard the "O" alphabet so I automatically thought that she said "C". Fuck me lol. -When they were talking about exchanging costumes, they're talking about other set of their 2D models. Ars has a fox version of herself and the tank top one. She probably has more than 2. - "heart distance", which was translated literally, this just simply means the gauge between love and hate. You might want to try doing a transcript of what they say first before translating. This is very unsolicited advice on my part, but I hope you won't take it as me trying to bash you on your quality.
- Furen meant that she was so curious she could only sleep at night, not that she was answering Ars because Ars was curious. Kinda small in this case, but can change the entire context in another situation.
- Furen said that if Ars sent her own blood to Furen, she would help check. (Not exactly sure if she actually said or , but made more sense in this context) not C-type like you translated. It also makes sense since Ars asked how much she intends to spend (to check).
- You heard right in this case, but can also mean machine, and so Furen meant that she would buy the machine that can check the blood type, the one that goes " (idk how to translate this into english btw)
The rest of the convo on this topic has their nuances changed a little because of these two mistranslations, but I think you should be able to understand the rest of the context based on these two changes.
Japanese is very context-based, where the meaning of a word changes depending heavily on what they say before and after. So, while it might take more time for you to churn out translations if you were to transcribe in Japanese first, it will help you improve your Japanese and translations once you're used to it.
