Ingredients :
Chicken - 1 & 1/2 kg
Onion - 7 ( Slices )
Tomatoes - 5 ( chopped )
Yogurt / Dahi - 1 & 1/2 cup
Ginger and Garlic Paste - 5 tbsp
Mint leaves / Pudina - 1/4 cup
Coriander leaves / Hari dhaniya - 1/2 cup
Curry leaves / Curry patta - 12 or 15
Green Chilli / Hari Mirch - 7 or 8
Bombay Biryani Masala - 1 packet
Basmati Rice - 1 kg
Oil - 1 & 1/2 cup
Water - 3 Litre
Saffron / Zafran - 1/4 tsp
Milk - 1/2 cup ( lukewarm )
Shahi Biryani Essence - 1/4 tsp ( optional)
Green Food colour - few drops
Red Food colour - few drops
Yellow food colour - few drops
Potatoes - 2 ( optional )
Whole spices / Garam masala - as required
( Black pepper, clove, cardamom, cinnamon, bay leaf )
Note : Whole spices / Garam masala are already included in Biryani masala packet .
