Hello everyone and welcome back for another easy beginner’s ukulele tutorial! This time I’m teaching you a simple country strum, how to use a capo and a beginner friendly country song by Don Williams called You’re My Best Friend. I hope you enjoy it! No one does it better than Don, with his beautiful voice. This song uses only 3 easy and essential beginner chords. If you don’t know these chords yet, you will definitely need them in your ukulele chord toolbox. They are in so many songs! So practice them daily until you can transition from each very smoothly. The chords are C, G7 and F. The strum that we will be using is a “country strum”. It’s has a pattern of Down - up - down, with the first Down being more exaggerated and heavy and the second down being lighter and softer. This strum is commonly used for songs in 4/4 time. I am playing a beautiful Ortega Concert Ukulele and you can get one just like it here: https://amzn.to/2Z7Y3UR The capo I’m using is awesome too and it’s made by Shubb. It’s really light and easy to use and it can be purchased here: https://amzn.to/31EHTUu Here are the chords/tabs that I used: https://tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/tab/don_williams/youre_my_best_friend_chords_1897659
