ILHAM @ HOME: Curators' Zoom Call with Collector Alex Moh

SPEAKERS: Alex Moh, Simon Soon, Hoo Fan Chon, K. Azril Ismail Listen to an informative conversation between the co-curators of our current exhibition, Bayangnya itu Timbul Tenggelam, and collector/photographer Alex Moh. They discuss Alex’s background in photography, his journey in acquiring old photographs and memorabilia from various flea markets and original photo studios around the country, as well as the the genesis of the exhibition. Alex's expansive collection, although a constant work-in-progress, features significantly in the exhibition. — Photographer Alex Moh is a pioneer in the writing of Malaysia’s photography history. Together with Li-En Chong, he organized the Kuala Lumpur International Photography Biennale in 2005. Over the past 30 years, he has also diligently built up one of the most comprehensive photography collections in Malaysia.
