    @JohnTurner3134 years ago As a cissp and previously a hiring manager: proof of work is priority one imho. Show your work. Blogs, projects, youtube, side hustles, open source contributions, youdid, not what your team or the company they work for did.
    as for certs: cloud. After that: network. Get as technical as you can, and stretch out to ai/ml, data analysis, and blockchain

It definitely won' t make you a pentester overnight, however, also security+sscp. The security 601+ dives more in cloud security. On the other hand sscp will gear you for the ccsp. ...Expand 1
