How to Carry Things With Crutches
Last week I stepped funny on my left foot and ended up with a Jones Fracture in my 5th metatarsal bone. I’m in a cast for a month and will know after that if it is healing or if it will require surgery. Until then, I’m stuck with no weight bearing on my left foot and have to use crutches to get around. I’m also using a knee scooter if I need to travel very far and will use it when I go back to work, but this video is about how to carry things when you’re stuck using crutches.
The biggest challenge, after overcoming the initial aches of using crutches just to move around, is finding ways to carry things from one place to another. I’ve come up with a few tricks that are working for me and thought I’d share them in case they help anyone else. I did purchase my top item on Amazon, and you can see the item at http://bit.ly/crutchbag .

Let me know in the comments below if you want to see more videos like this one. It’s a little different from my usual cooking and household tips, but I thought it might help someone else dealing with the same challenges.
