The video is only 10 minutes long but you can play it several times until you get confident. It is meant for people that has never read piano music before so I start from scratch. Not all the concept seen are explained (time signatures, rest, clef) but only the relevant once. The idea is that any person that don't speak English can still learn from this video although a very few words are used. In this case every beat last a second because that is the tempo chosen as the most suitable for this exercise. That gives me the chance to explain that a crotchet/quarter-note last a second, a minim/half-note 2 seconds and a semibreve/whole-note last 4 seconds. That would change if the tempo goes faster or slower. I hope you enjoy this. The music is especially composed for this exercise by Marcello Palace. The only two chords used are C and F7m and the reason I used a 7th minor in the F chord is to make more acceptable to include notes that are not part of the sounding chord and still make it sound acceptable.
