Melbourne to enter snap Covid lockdown, Victoria premier Daniel Andrews announces

The Victorian premier Daniel Andrews has announced a the state will go into a snap five day lockdown in a bid to curb the growing outbreak of the delta variant of Covid-19. It comes after two further people who attended the MCG tested positive. The lockdown will last will start at midnight tonight.
