The 95-year-old had been scheduled to attend the COP26 meetings in Glasgow in person, but instead delivered a recorded video after doctors advised her to rest for two weeks. The Queen has addressed the COP26 summit, touching on the future, politics, and her late husband. In a poignant message the monarch said that "none of us will live forever. But we are doing this not for ourselves but for our children and our children's children, and those who will follow in their footsteps".
