As someone who's lived with Gender Dysphoria for 43 years, and went through HELL just wanting to be a normal friggin' person, all of this makes me want to be sick, Kids SHOULD NOT be involved in ANY of this! Your kid THINKS they're the wrong gender? Great! I thought I was a dinosaur when I was five, but.. this may surprise some folks... I wasn't one.
Once they're an adult, they can make adult decisions and get whatever kind of care works best for them, hopefully after YEARS of research, Doctors, Therapists, etc., though in most cases, they're just going to grow out of all that awkwardness. I wish I had grown out of it, and that it had just been awkwardness, a phase. This is not something, like any disease of any kind.. it's pretty fucked up to WANT to have it. And trying to force it on kids... dear God.. The world is just mental.
